Functional or Non-Functional?
We sell both functional and non-functional pacifiers, and it's helpful to know the difference before you shop. Both styles are popular, so it really comes down to personal preference.
Functional
Functional pacifiers deflate and inflate as you suck on them, letting air pass through the nipple during use.
Non-functional
Non-functional pacifiers are more bulb shaped and hold their air, like a balloon.
Pacifier Guards
Original
Size 6 silicone teatNon-functional✓ Can be taken apart
Also known as the "Standard Size 6," the Original is our classic pacifier guard. It has a handy handle that's great for attaching pacifier clips and comes in over 30 colours. It comes standard with the Size 6 frosted teat, which is firm and non-functional. You can buy it individually or in bulk.
Want to customize? The Original guard is compatible with our Size 8 silicone nipples, as well as select limited edition latex nipples. Any latex nipple that fits the Hypnos will also fit the Original.
The Original can be modified to become functional, though this falls outside of what we normally recommend. If you'd like to learn more, reach out to our team and we can walk you through it.
How to take it apart
Be careful with the handle so you don't break the small studs that hold it in place. We also have a helpful video that walks you through it.
- Gently pull on one side of the handle at a time to remove it from the button.
- Once the handle is off, pull the button off the guard, and you're done!
Fixx
Size 10 silicone nippleFunctional✓ Can be taken apart
The Fixx is shaped like the Original but is about 30% larger. It has a handle for attaching pacifier clips and comes in 25 solid colours and 7 transparent styles, with special printed button versions available in limited supply. The Fixx is fully functional right out of the box and comes standard with the Size 10 silicone nipple, which you can also buy on its own as a replacement.
There are also several latex nipple options for the Fixx in a variety of shapes and sizes. These come either stuffed or unstuffed. Stuffed nipples are filled with cotton, which makes them non-functional. Latex nipples for the Fixx are not compatible with any other pacifier at this time.
How to take it apart
Take care with the handle so you don't break the small studs that hold it in place.
- Gently pull on one side of the handle at a time, slowly removing it from the button.
- Once the handle is off, pull the button off the guard, and you're done!
Hypnos
Size 8 silicone nippleFunctional✓ Can be taken apart
The Hypnos, also known as the Hypnos Sleep Aid, was thoughtfully designed by the team at Pacifier Addict. It's shaped to fit snugly around your face while still allowing airflow, making it perfect for extended wear during naps or relaxation time. It's compatible with our Size 8 silicone nipples and is easy to take apart for cleaning and nipple replacement.
The Hypnos is made for customizing. Choose from a variety of nipple colours, a flat button that's easy to decorate, and stylish pacifier clips for a look that's all your own. Since the Hypnos doesn't have a built in handle, pacifier clips attach using Hypnos Rings, small silicone adapters that slide onto the button to create an attachment point. Watch how to put one on.
Several latex nipple options are also available for the Hypnos in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they also fit the Original guard.
How to take it apart
The Hypnos is one of the easiest pacifiers to take apart, since it's made of only two pieces.
- Grip the button on the side and pull upward. It pops right off!
Enigma

The Enigma is a fully silicone, all-in-one pacifier available in two colours, with a butterfly shaped guard. Unlike our other pacifiers, it has no detachable parts, which makes it incredibly durable and easy to clean. Just boil it to sterilize.
The back of the guard has a handy loop for a pacifier clip, plus a hole that connects to the hollow nipple. It's a great alternative for anyone who tends to suck on their thumb or fingers. The butterfly wings also double as a chewable element, made with a slightly more durable silicone for those who enjoy chewing. Designed for comfort and stress relief, the Enigma is a great solution for oral fixation.

Small Guard Pacifiers

Our limited edition Small Guard pacifiers have a smaller shield than our standard pacifiers. They're baby pacifiers that have been modified with our standard adult Size 6 teat. They're especially loved for their compact guards that just cover the lips, perfect if you prefer a smaller, more subtle fit.
These pacifiers cannot be taken apart.
Dream Button Binkey
Cherry Pop teatNon-functional✓ Can be taken apart
This special vintage style pacifier has a circular guard and a unique silicone teat coloured to look like a latex nipple, giving it the perfect retro look for anyone who loves a classic vintage aesthetic.
There are currently no other compatible nipples for this pacifier, and its nipples aren't sold individually.
How to take it apart
- Carefully remove the handle from the guard, working one side at a time.
- Once both sides of the handle are off, gently pull the button off the guard.
- Pull the nipple and button apart to separate them.

Silicone
HypoallergenicSold individually
Silicone is firm, smooth and holds its shape well. It's odourless, tasteless, easy to clean and heat resistant, so it handles sterilization without breaking down. It's also hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for anyone with latex sensitivities. The downside is that it's less flexible and can tear more easily if it's bitten or chewed aggressively. Our silicone nipples are made in bulk and can be bought individually, in packs or already installed on pacifiers.
Latex
HandmadeOnly on pacifiers
Latex is softer and more flexible, with a natural give that many people find more comfortable, and it tends to hold up better against biting and chewing. However, it has a slight taste and smell, wears out faster over time, can become sticky or discoloured, and isn't suitable for anyone with a latex allergy. Latex is also sensitive to light and can absorb water during washing, so it needs a little more care. Our latex nipples are specialty handmade products, so there may be slight variations between them. They're only available already installed on pacifiers and are not sold separately.

Orthodontic
Sizes 6 to 12
Flattened on the bottom and rounded on top, orthodontic nipples are designed to support the natural shape of an adult's palate and jaw. This is our most common nipple shape.
Cherry Pop
Latex only
Long nipples with a large, bulbous end. Cherry Pop is a specialty shape that's currently only available in latex. The Dream Button Binkey has a silicone Cherry Pop teat, available for a limited time only.
Cushion
Latex only
With a large, rounded top that tapers toward the guard, Cushion nipples are designed to fill an adult's mouth. They're similar to orthodontic nipples, but without the flattened bottom.
Symmetrical
Latex only
With a flat top and bottom, symmetrical nipples promote a natural sucking motion.
